Elite AFH Advisory was born from the real-world trenches of Adult Family Home caregiving — not from a textbook, not from a boardroom, but from the day-to-day reality of running a licensed home and navigating the complexities of state compliance firsthand.
Our founder spent over a decade as a licensed Adult Family Home provider in Washington State before launching Elite AFH Advisory more than four years ago. During her years of hands-on experience, she witnessed a recurring challenge across the industry: dedicated, compassionate providers struggling under the weight of ever-changing regulations, mounting paperwork, and the constant pressure of maintaining inspection readiness — all while trying to deliver quality care to their residents.
She saw providers penalized not because they lacked heart, but because they lacked the administrative systems and compliance guidance to keep up. She saw talented caregivers overwhelmed by documentation requirements, unsure of what was expected, and left without reliable support to turn to.
So she built the solution herself.
Elite AFH Advisory was founded to bridge the gap between regulation and real-world caregiving. What started as one provider helping fellow providers has grown into a trusted consulting practice serving Adult Family Homes across Washington State — offering compliance audits, policy development, administrative support, staff training, and hands-on guidance rooted in real operational experience.
As a DSHS-contracted instructor and compliance specialist, she brings a unique perspective that most consultants simply cannot offer. She doesn’t just understand the regulations — she has lived them. She knows what it feels like to prepare for an inspection, to manage medications, to build care plans, and to keep a home running smoothly day after day. That firsthand knowledge is woven into every policy, every audit, and every training session Elite AFH Advisory delivers.
